PETERSON PROFESSIONAL
Professional interior wall color change, the process begins with surface preparation, including cleaning, patching holes, sanding rough spots, and caulking gaps for a smooth finish. Next, baseboards, trim, and ceilings are masked off using painter’s tape and plastic sheeting, while floors are protected with drop cloths. A quality primer (Interior Latex based) is applied if covering dark colors, stains, or fresh drywall. Using a high-quality roller (3/8” or 1/2” nap for textured walls) and an angled brush for edges, the new paint is applied in two coats, allowing proper drying time between coats. An airless sprayer (Graco 390) may be used for speed and a smoother finish on large walls. Final touch-ups ensure an even application, and tape is removed before the paint fully dries to achieve crisp lines. The space is cleaned up, leaving a flawless, professional finish.
